    Client must be 18 years or older to rent The Liven Room LLC. At least one adult, 18 years or older, must be present at all times during the event.

    Guest Capacity

    Guest capacity cannot exceed 50 guests including children over 3 years of age.Failure to follow this village ordinance may result in termination of your event without refund.

    Payment Methods

    A non-refundable 50% reservation deposit must accompany this rental agreement in order to reserve the date. Acceptable forms of payment are Visa, Mastercard, American Express, & Discover card, ACH Transfer, Cash & Check.

    Postponements & Cancellations

    Cancellations made anytime prior to fourteen (14) days before your event date, all monies except non-refundable deposit will be returned. Cancellations made less than fourteen (14) days prior to event date will require full payment of rental.

    Event Time Slot

    The client is expected to keep their event within their scheduled event time slot. The time slot MUST allow for both set-up and clean up. Due to scheduling limitations, we cannot allow entry before your scheduled time nor extend your time slot. If you feel your set up and/or break down will take the majority of your time slot, consider booking a full day. Client must vacate the property at the end of their scheduled time slot. Failing to do so will result in additional fees.

    Full Day Rentals

    Full Day Rentals begin at 10am and end at 12 midnight. Once the door has been opened for your full day rental, the door will remain unlocked for the entirety of the day. Please make arrangements for someone to be at the venue at all times as the door will be unlocked, leaving your personal property accessible to passersby.

    Catering

    The Liven Room LLC has an open catering policy. Client may self cater or use catering restaurants of their choice. Food caterers/vendors with tanks and/or open flames are not allowed; this includes, but is not limited to taco vendors. You may use chafer fuel cans aka Sterno cans.

    BYOB and its Limitations

    Consumption of alcohol is allowed on the premises, provided that the client and client’s guests abide by all applicable laws regarding alcohol possession and consumption. You may BYOB at no additional cost. Alcoholic beverages MUST be limited to beer, wine, and/or champagne. Single-serving glass bottles of any kind are not allowed. Alcohol sales are strictly prohibited. No cash bars.

    HARD LIQUOR

    If you'd like to serve hard liquor, day-of insurance must be purchased. A copy of a certificate of insurance must state that you have liquor liability coverage. A certificate would need to be submitted one week (7 days) prior to your event.

    Event Insurance

    Day-of event insurance is strongly suggested for events serving any type of alcohol and/or events with vendors such as, but not limited to, DJs, musical acts, or vendors with equipment as The Liven Room LLC is not responsible for damage to vendor equipment. A certificate would need to be submitted one week (7 days) prior to your event.

    Furniture

    The existing tables and chairs may be moved within the space to accommodate your party. None of the furniture may be removed from the venue. Additional tables and chairs are not allowed unless discussed with event manager as they must be commercial grade.

    Decorations

    Client may decorate the facility using Command™ hooks, Scotch™ tape and/or painter's tape. However, you may not staple, nail or tack any signs or decorations to the walls or furnishings. Any product used to adhere should not leave a residue. Therefore, no duct tape, packing tape, mounting putty, nor adhesive foam tape is allowed. No confetti, confetti balloons, glitter, petals (real or fake), powder nor rice are allowed. Gender reveal poppers, cannons, and confetti balloons are prohibited. Piñatas are not allowed. Candles are only allowed in glass containers intended for candles. Other open flames are not permitted.

    Picture Release

    Any pictures of decorations/set-ups taken by The Liven Room LLC may be used, strictly for marketing purposes, on social media platforms. Please indicate if you would not like your images used.

    Music & Noise

    We have a wireless speaker (Bluetooth) that can be used by guests. DJs and live music are allowed, however, musical acts requiring backline equipment such as amplifiers will not be allowed. Mariachis are allowed, but are must be limited to three (3) members.

    Cleaning & Sanitation

    The client is responsible for removal and disposal of decorations, leftover food/drinks, and/or all personal belongings. All trash should be left, along the wall, outside the rear exit. Trash bags are provided. Anything left behind will be disposed of immediately. You are NOT required to sweep, mop, and/or wipe down surfaces. That is the responsibility of The Liven Room LLC staff. The Liven Room LLC will fully sanitize all common surfaces throughout the day and between events.

    Excessive Cleaning

    In the event there is excessive cleaning required including, but not limited to, vomit or bodily fluids, there will be a cleaning fee of $250 due immediately at the conclusion of the scheduled event.

    Safety!

    Please do not stand, climb, or jump on any chairs, tables, benches, or any furniture. Step stool, for decorating, is available uopn request.

    Restrictions

    Any lewd, illegal or indecent conduct is not permitted. Smoking/Vaping is not allowed anywhere on the property or within 15 feet from The Liven Room LLC entrances. Promoter events are not allowed and will be shut down immediately without refund. No pets of any kind are allowed during events. Licensed service animals as described by the ADA must be wearing a service vest. Loitering by the entrance and/or parking lot after your event has ended is not allowed.

    Event Manager & Staff

    An event manager and/or staff member will be present before and after all events.

    Disclaimer

    The Liven Room LLC is not responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen property during the rental of the facility. The client is responsible for all their guest and their actions.
    As a host, it is your responsibility to relay our Do's and Don'ts to your guests.

    Furthermore, the client agrees to release The Liven Room LLC and will hold them harmless from any liability which may arise from incidents or accidents involving the client or their guests while on The Liven Room LLC premises.on text goes here
